Meet Our Advisory Board
Dibzy’s Advisory Board is super-creative and definitely knows about dreaming big and inventing smart. We’re thrilled to have these experts in our corner.
Gary De Jesus
Gary is Dibzy’s go-to branding guy. “Is your business a product or a brand? A product is part of a brand,” asks Gary, who is managing partner of Your Brand Group. “Therefore, a brand is bigger than a product. A brand is more than features and benefits—it includes perceptions and reputations.” Gary’s big-picture vision while focusing on the details of a brand provides meaningful guidance as we help our designers bring their creations to life.
After inventing FuzziBunz Diapers, building her own manufacturing facility, and growing her company to multimillion-dollar status in four short years, Tereson took a deep dive in ABC’s “Shark Tank.” Her 2012 appearance on the show about entrepreneurs seeking investments only enhanced her street cred. After successfully licensing FuzziBunz in 2013, she “retired” a year later. Not one to lounge around eating bonbons, Tereson became partner in INFANTC Trading Company in order to build the FuzziBunz brand, and she started Pitch Perfect Consulting Group to help entrepreneurs refine their pitches and secure investments. That’s what we call paying it forward!
With more than 20 years of experience in both the infant and adult product industries, Kellie certainly knows her stuff. “I have a strong understanding of merchandising, marketing, product development and production management,” she says. Kellie is currently the U.S. product development manager for Zibo Jiayang Home Textile Co., LTD, which specializes in creating a warm and fuzzy feeling, a.k.a. the design, manufacturing and distribution of infant and adult home textile products including blankets, bath items, sheets and mattress pads.
You could fill a bookcase with what Jim has written about product safety regulation, including Consumer Product Safety Regulation, Product Warnings, Defects & Hazards, and 49 other texts. That’s right: We have an international expert on product safety legislation on our advisory board, which is pretty helpful. Jim retired after 24 years as Procter & Gamble’s associate general counsel for product safety, and he served as editor of ABA’s Products Liability Newsletter
When it comes to the juvenile product industry, we have a true leader on our team: Denny, who is both a past president and past board member for the Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association. Denny, a marketing whiz, spent 35 years with Dolly Inc., a juvenile products manufacturing company, advancing from assistant sales manager to president and CEO of the company, which he purchased in 1996. And if that wasn’t enough to showcase his product chops, Denny was named Ernst and Young’s Master Entrepreneur of the Year by Dayton, Ohio, in 1998.
